Sally Fitzgibbons wil naar Nederland
De ASP Women’s World Tour 2012 is vol aan de gang. Vorige maand versloeg Sally Fitzgibbons nog viervoudig wereldkampioen Stephanie Gilmore tijdens de Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach. De meiden zitten er middenin! Veel vrije tijd is er niet. Xooka Ambassador Lindsay had dan ook niet verwacht dat haar interview-verzoek aan Sally ook maar enigszins respons zou krijgen. Maarrr… wat schetste onze verbazing?! Sally’s manager (aka vader) stuurde Lindsay dit.

Congratulations on winning Bell’s! How did it feel to ring the Bell a second time?
It was an absolute dream to ring the Bell for the second year in a row. It is one of the most prestigious events on our calendar and holds a really special place in all the surfers hearts, in particular all the Australian surfers who have grown up watching the event. It was the craziest feeling and I will always have amazing memories when I go back to Bells.
Did you know that Holland is a surf-minded country? Have you ever visited our country?
Looking at the coastline on the maps you can see all the spots to surf. I’d love to visit one day. It’s really cool to hear that there is a strong surf culture in Holland and that the surf stoke is there. Even in the really cold waters! Can’t wait to come one day soon.
